Carbon accounting software: a neutral overview

Good software gathers your energy and fuel data, turns it into emissions, keeps a record of every step and writes the report. If you want to be ready for an assurer, look for: a clear trail from each data source to the final total, a log of every change, sign-offs by named staff, math that follows the GHG Protocol, support for Scope 3, and a read-only login for your assurer.
